Effective from October 5, 2022, until October 4, 2032, this initiative aligns with the broader visions of “Aatmanirbhar Gujarat” and “Aatmanirbhar Bharat.” A key component of the scheme is the “Reimbursement of Stamp Duty and Registration Fees,” which provides financial relief to eligible Mega Industrial Units for land transactions associated with their projects. This aims to stimulate industrial growth and alleviate the financial impact of land acquisition for businesses.

Key Benefits

• Full Reimbursement: Eligible mega industrial units can receive a 100% reimbursement of the stamp duty and registration fees paid to the Government of Gujarat for land purchases or leases associated with their projects.

Eligibility Requirements

• The unit must operate as a manufacturing entity.
• A minimum investment of ₹2,500 crore in plant and machinery is required.
• The unit should provide direct employment to a minimum of 2,500 individuals.
• The unit must belong to one of the designated thrust sectors as specified in the guidelines (Refer Page No. 9).
• Land must be purchased or leased during the specified investment period.
• The unit should have initiated commercial production.

Application Procedure

Online Application

To apply for the scheme, follow the steps outlined below:

Registration Steps:

1. Navigate to the Investor Facilitation Portal (IFP). Click on “New Investor Registration” to access the registration form.
2. Complete the Registration Form and hit “Submit”.
3. Confirm your email address by clicking the link sent to your registered email.
4. Upon verification, your registration will be completed successfully.

Post-Registration Steps:

1. Return to the Investor Facilitation Portal (IFP) and click “Login”.
2. Input the email address and password used during registration.
3. Click on the “Login” button to access your account.
4. Fill in the necessary details and upload required documents related to your business to finalize the application process.
