The BIRSA scheme is a significant component of the “Mukhymantri Sarthi Yojana” initiated by the Department of Labour, Employment, Training, and Skill Development in Jharkhand. Its primary focus is to provide accessible skill training to individuals in both general and reserved categories. This initiative specifically targets youth who wish to enhance their skills and work in their communities. Currently, it operates in 24 districts, covering 80 blocks in its initial phase, and is designed to be non-residential.

Steps to Apply
Offline Application Process
- Candidate Registration by TSP: Candidates must visit the nearest Training Service Provider (TSP) Center to register under the “Mukhymantri Sarthi Yojana.”
- Aadhaar Requirement: Registration will be Aadhaar-based; hence, possessing an Aadhaar number is essential during the registration process.
Online Application Process
- Self-Registration: Candidates should visit the official website of the Jharkhand Skill Development Mission.
- Click on Registration: Select ‘Candidate Registration’ from the ‘Registration’ tab.
Profile Creation
- Fill in your basic details: First Name, Last Name, Username, Password, Identity Type (e.g., Aadhaar), Identity Number, Date of Birth, Gender, Mobile Number, and Email.
- Submit the form to receive a User ID and Password via SMS and email.
Login and OTP Validation
- Access the platform using the Username and Password provided.
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number to activate your User ID.
Profile Management
- Once logged in, navigate to the ‘Registration’ section.
- Update and save your personal and optional bank account details.
Contact and Education Information
- Input and save your contact details, including address and communication preferences.
- Provide educational qualifications if literate, or select preferred languages if illiterate.
- Save and submit this information to the Training Service Provider (TSP).
Registration ID Generation
- Upon final submission, a unique Registration ID will be generated.
- Notifications confirming successful registration will be sent via SMS and email.
Note: The Aadhaar number is mandatory for the registration process and helps in preventing duplicate entries.

Apply Offline
Candidate registration by TSP:
