About This Scheme
The scheme “Breed Multiplication Farms” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Livestock Development Board (ULDB) under the Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to facilitate the establishment of Breed Multiplication Farms (BMFs) for making available High Genetic Merit heifers of cattle and buffaloes breeds to farmers.
Benefits
Under this scheme, a maximum subsidy of ₹50 lakh is provided by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India, for a project cost of ₹1 crore under the Rashtriya Gokul Mission.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a livestock farmer, a farmer producer company, a registered company under Section 8, or a self-help group based in Uttarakhand.
