About This Scheme
The scheme “ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education)” is an initiative under the Samagra Shiksha Programme, implemented by the Secondary Education Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide quality early childhood development, care, and pre-primary education to children between the ages of 3 to 6 years. The scheme also emphasizes safe and secure infrastructure, including the provision of furniture, TLM, and child-friendly facilities in co-located Anganwadi centres operating within the premises of government schools in the state.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant should be a boy or girl aged between 3 to 6 years.
The child (boy/girl) must not have completed 6 years of age as on the date of commencement of the academic session.
Application Process
Apply Offline
The child must be taken to the respective co-located Anganwadi centre along with the Aadhaar card or birth certificate as proof of age, which is mandatory for admission/registration.
Admission is free, and children can be enrolled anytime between the ages of 3 to 6 years. All children in the prescribed age group within the area served by Anganwadi centres/Balvatikas operating in government school premises must be registered.
