Eligibility Requirements

To apply for the “Financial Assistance for Medical” scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

For Registration as a Building/Construction Worker:

  • The applicant must be a resident of Jammu & Kashmir.
  • The applicant should be actively engaged as a Building/Construction Worker.
  • The age of the applicant must be between 18 and 60 years.
  • The applicant should have worked in the construction sector for at least 90 days in the last year.
  • Annual renewal of registration is mandatory.

For Applying to the Scheme:

  • The applicant must be a registered member of the JKBOCW Welfare Board.
  • The applicant should be undergoing treatment for an injury, disability, or chronic disease.

Steps to Apply

Online Registration Process

  1. Visit the official JKBOCWWB website.
  2. Locate and click on the “Labour Registration” link on the homepage.
  3. If you are a new user, select “Apply for New Registration.”
  4. Fill in the registration form with the required details and submit it. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click “Verify OTP & Submit.”
  5. Upon successful verification, you will receive a confirmation message with your Login ID and password via SMS.
  6. Log in using the provided Login ID, password, and captcha. Please note that the username and password are case-sensitive.
  7. Once logged in, select “Construction Worker’s Registration” and click on “Registration Form.”
  8. A dashboard will appear. Fill in all necessary details marked with an asterisk (*).
  9. Upload all required documents, such as identification proof and relevant certificates.
  10. After completing the form and uploading documents, click “Submit” and pay the application fee online. You will receive a registration number upon successful submission.

  1. Navigate to the official JKBOCWWB website.
  2. Click on “Login” and enter your credentials to access your account.
  3. Once logged in, select “Scheme Registration” and click “Apply for Scheme.”
