The “Freeship Staff Ward” scheme is implemented by Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to support the education of students who are wards of university staff and are pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, or PhD courses by providing tuition fee concessions.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a student.
The applicant must be enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate course, a 3-year postgraduate course, or a 3-year Ph.D. program at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar.
Application Process
Apply Offline
Applications are first invited from students using the prescribed form. Based on the applications received, the Dean of Student Welfare prepares a list of students following the prescribed procedure. This list is then approved by the Registrar and the Vice-Chancellor. The Dean of Student Welfare issues an office order announcing the selected students, who are subsequently granted tuition fee waivers.
