Initiated in 2001, the “Kailash Darshan Yatra” scheme is specifically designed to assist pilgrims from Gujarat in their quest to visit the revered Kailash Mansarovar. The scheme facilitates a one-time financial grant to eligible applicants who finish the pilgrimage. To qualify, individuals must be selected pilgrims from Gujarat and provide evidence of yatra completion within a stipulated timeframe of 90 days. Applications can only be submitted through offline channels.

Application Process

Steps to Apply Offline

• Step 1: Obtain a printout of the designated application form format.
• Step 2: Accurately fill in all required fields, including details of the authorized travel agent/organizer and information about the pilgrims. Attach self-attested copies of all necessary documents.
• Step 3: Submit the completed and signed application form, together with the necessary documents, to the “Gujarat Holy Pilgrimage Development Board, Old Secretariat, Gandhinagar” within the 90-day period after yatra completion.

It is advisable to keep a copy of the submitted application for future reference.

Verification and Disbursement

Once the applications are received, the Gujarat Holy Pilgrimage Development Board will review and process them. Upon successful verification, the financial assistance will be credited directly to the beneficiary’s bank account.
