For Registration as a Building/Construction Worker
- The applicant must be a resident of Jammu & Kashmir.
- Must be actively engaged as a Building/Construction Worker.
- Age should be between 18 and 60 years.
- Must have worked in any building or construction activity for at least 90 days in the past 12 months.
- The registration must be renewed on an annual basis.
For Application to the Scheme
- The applicant needs to be registered under the JKBOCWWB.
- Assistance is applicable for up to three marriages of the worker’s dependent sons, daughters, siblings, or the worker themselves.
- The membership with the Board must be active at the time of application.
- Proof of dependent relationship must be provided for sons, daughters, siblings, or self.
Application Process
Online Application
The online application process is straightforward and can be completed in the following steps:
- Visit the official website of the JKBOCWWB.
- Locate and click on the “Labour Registration” link on the homepage.
- If you are a new user, select “Apply for New Registration.”
- Fill out the registration form with the necessary details, submit it, and send the OTP to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify and submit.
- Upon successful OTP verification, a confirmation message containing your Login ID and password will be sent to your registered mobile.
- Log in using the provided credentials and complete the “Construction Worker’s Registration” form.
- After filling in all required details, upload necessary documents such as ID proof and other relevant certificates.
- Submit the application and pay the fee online; a registration number will be generated after payment.

- Log into the JKBOCWWB official website using your credentials.
- Click on “Scheme Registration” and select “Apply for Scheme.”
- Choose the desired scheme to apply for benefits.
- Fill in the required information and upload the necessary documents.
- Submit your application to complete the process.
Application Status Tracking
Applicants can monitor their application status online through the JKBOCWWB official website. Notifications regarding updates will be sent to the registered mobile number.
Offline Application
- Visit the JKBOCWWB office during working hours to request a hard copy of the application form.
- Alternatively, applicants may print the application form from the website.
- Fill in all mandatory fields in the application, affix a passport-sized photograph, and attach all required documents (self-attested if needed).
- Submit the completed application form along with the necessary documents to the Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC) in your district.

Step 10: Once the form is completed and documents uploaded, click "Submit" and pay the application fee online. You will receive a registration number after successful payment and submission.
