This comprises 50% of the total amount (up to ₹5,00,000/-) as a non-repayable grant, while the remaining 50% (up to ₹5,00,000/-) is offered as an interest-free loan with a nominal interest rate of 1% under certain sub-schemes.
• Entrepreneurial Skill Development: The scheme includes mandatory training sessions aimed at enhancing the entrepreneurial skills of participants.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
• Applicants must belong to a minority community.
• A minimum educational qualification of 10+2, Intermediate, ITI, Polytechnic Diploma, or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Applicants should be between 18 and 50 years of age.
• The business entity must be registered as either a proprietorship or a partnership firm.

Note: Women from minority communities can choose to apply for either the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyami Yojana or the Mukhyamantri Alpasankhyak Udyami Yojana based on their preferences.
