• The applicant must be aged 60 years or older.
• Applicants should have resided in the Union Territory of Puducherry for a minimum of five years.

Application Process

To participate in this scheme, interested individuals need to apply offline. The following steps outline the application procedure:

1. Visit PONCARE: Interested applicants should go to the Pondicherry Society for the Care of the Aged (PONCARE) during office hours. 2. Obtain Application Form: Request the prescribed application form from the designated staff responsible for issuing and collecting completed applications.
3. Complete the Form: Fill in all required fields in the application form. Ensure to attach a passport-sized photograph (signed across if necessary) and provide copies of all mandatory documents (self-attested if required).
4. Submission: Submit the filled and signed application form along with the necessary documents to The Secretary, PONCARE.
5. Acknowledgment: After submission, request a receipt or acknowledgment from the authority. This receipt should contain vital information, including the date and time of submission as well as a unique identification number, if applicable.
