This scheme offers a monthly stipend of ₹1000/- to eligible candidates enrolled in Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) programs at recognized institutions across Chhattisgarh.

About the Scheme

This welfare program is designed to assist students who are pursuing their B.E. degrees. Eligible candidates include those who have successfully completed their 10th and 12th standard examinations or Diploma holders who are transitioning into the second year of B.E. The scholarship is offered to those who have achieved a minimum of 60% marks in their qualifying examinations.

Benefits of the Scholarship

• Students enrolled in the first year of the B.E. program will receive ₹1,000/- per month.
• For those newly admitted to the second year of B.E. through lateral entry, the scholarship amount is also ₹1,000/- per month.

• The applicant must be a resident of Chhattisgarh.
• Currently enrolled in a recognized engineering college within Chhattisgarh.
• Pursuing an engineering degree course.
• Students who have completed their 10th and 12th exams with at least 60% marks from any recognized institution in Chhattisgarh.
• Diploma holders transitioning to the second year of B.E. must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in their diploma final year examination.

Additional Conditions

There are specific conditions under which the scholarship is granted:

• Students are not permitted to receive multiple scholarships simultaneously without explicit government approval. However, they may continue receiving any fee concessions offered by their institution.
• If a scholarship position becomes vacant, it can be awarded to the next deserving candidate based on the merit list for the remaining scholarship duration.
• Only students who have cleared their qualifying examinations from recognized testing bodies in Chhattisgarh are eligible, unless they are children of permanent government employees on deputation to the Government of India or other state governments.
• Students engaged in full-time employment are not eligible for the scholarship, although part-time work is permissible for those studying in recognized institutions receiving a scholarship.

2. Complete the application form, ensuring all mandatory fields are filled. Attach a passport-sized photograph (signed, if required) and relevant supporting documents (self-attested, if necessary).
3. Submit the filled and signed application form along with the required documents to the institution staff within the specified deadline. The Principal will verify the documents and forward the application to the Directorate for approval or renewal.
4. Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the staff upon submission. This receipt should include important details such as the submission date, time, and a unique identification number if applicable.
