The scheme component “Drip Irrigation” launched under the “National Mission on Edible Oil–Oil Palm” scheme aims to increase the production of oil palm in Gujarat and reduce imports from abroad by providing drip irrigation facilities to farmers under subsidy norms.

About This Scheme

The scheme component “Drip Irrigation” launched under the “National Mission on Edible Oil–Oil Palm” scheme by the Department of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation, Government of Gujarat, aims to promote oil palm cultivation in Gujarat to meet domestic demand and reduce dependence on imports. The scheme facilitates the installation of drip irrigation systems for farmers, ensuring efficient water use and improved productivity. The subsidy is provided as per the norms of the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY), with differential rates for small & marginal farmers and other farmers.

Benefits

For Small & Marginal Farmers: 55% subsidy.

For Other Farmers: 45% subsidy.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should be a farmer.

The applicant should be a resident of Gujarat.

Registration Process:

Step 1: The applicant may visit and apply online at the

I-Khedut

Portal.

Step 2: Click on ‘Login’ from the top right-hand side, then click on “Beneficiary Registration” and select any one from the ‘Farmer’ or ‘Institutional’ or ‘Except For the Farmer’ as the Beneficiary Type.

Step 3: Select the District, Taluka, and Village, choose ‘what type of account holder you are?’, enter your Account Number and Name, solve the Captcha, and click ‘Save and Next’.

Step 4: Enter your Mobile Number and Email address, click ‘Send OTP’, enter the received OTP, create and confirm a Password, solve the Captcha, and click ‘Submit’.

Login Process:

Step 1: The applicant may visit and apply online at the

I-Khedut

Portal.

Step 2: Click on ‘Login’ from the top right-hand side of the homepage. On the home page, click on ‘Schemes’ and then click on ‘Agricultural Schemes’.

Step 3: Now select the scheme, click on the ‘Apply’ button, and an application page will open.

Step 4: Click on the “Apply New” button and submit a new application.

Step 5: Click on the “Update Application” button to add corrections to the application.

Step 6: Once the application is done, confirm it.

Step 7: Take a printout of the confirmed application.
