Students or their guardians can apply for this scheme online through the Aapni Sarkar portal. The application process involves several key steps:

  • The concerned student’s application must first be recommended by the school principal.
  • Following the principal’s endorsement, the application is further approved by the Assistant Director of the relevant district.
  • Essential documents include the student’s Aadhaar card and bank account details for financial disbursement.
  • For students who are repeating the same class in the current academic year, either the student or their guardian can initiate the online application process.
