Aimed at assisting Pashu Palaks (Animal Rearers), this program provides low-interest loans to help them invest in livestock, such as cows and buffaloes. The primary goal of this initiative is to empower individuals from socially and educationally backward classes by facilitating access to financial resources.

Key Advantages of the Scheme

  • Low-Interest Rate: The scheme offers loans at a competitive interest rate of just 6% per annum.
  • Maximum Loan Amount: Beneficiaries can avail loans up to ₹1,00,000.
  • Cost Coverage: Up to 85% of the total unit cost can be financed through the loan, with the breakdown as follows:
    • 85% from the National Corporation
    • 10% from the State Government
    • 5% from the beneficiary’s own contribution
  • Intended Use: The funds must be utilized specifically for agriculture-related activities, primarily in animal husbandry.
  • Repayment Terms: Loans must be repaid in 60 monthly installments, which include interest payments.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Pashupalan scheme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • The applicant should belong to the Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC).
  • The family’s annual income must not exceed ₹3,00,000.
  • Applicants should be aged between 21 and 45 years at the time of application.
  • Prior experience in a business requiring technical and other relevant skills is necessary.

  2. Locate the Scheme: On the homepage, scroll down to find the “Pashupalan” scheme and click on “Apply Now.”
  3. Access the Application Form: You will be redirected to the application form.
  4. Select Scheme & Loan Details: Choose “Pashupalan,” fill in the Unit Cost, and specify the loan amount required.
  5. Provide Applicant’s Information: Enter details such as Aadhaar number, Ration Card number, Voter ID, full name, address, district, taluka, village, PIN, date of birth, age, caste, subcaste, phone number, mobile number, email address, gender, and marital status.
  6. Income Information: Input the income certificate number, issue date, issuing officer’s name, and total annual family income.
  7. Disability Information (if applicable): If applicable, indicate disability status and percentage.
  8. Employment Details (if applicable): Provide information if any family member is employed in government or private sectors.
  9. Educational Qualification: Specify your educational qualifications.
  10. Loan History: If you have previously taken a loan, provide the relevant details.
  11. Bank Account Information: Fill in your bank account details, including account number, bank name, branch, and IFSC code.
  12. Submit Application: After filling in all details, click the “Submit” button to finalize your application.

Benefits

Low-Interest Loan: A loan is provided at an interest rate of 6 per cent per annum.
Maximum Loan Limit: The maximum loan limit in this scheme is up to ₹1,00,000/-.
Unit Cost Coverage: 85 per cent of the unit cost will be loaned.

Out of this 85 per cent, 85 per cent will be from the national corporation.

10 per cent will be from the state government.
5 per cent will be from the beneficiary's contribution.

Step 7: Disability Details (if applicable): If "Physically Handicapped," select "Yes" or "No". If you selected "Yes", provide the percentage (in %).
Step 8: Employment Details (if applicable): Indicate if any family member works in a government or private job. If "Yes," provide their Name, Designation, Place, and Salary details.
Step 9: Educational Qualification: Select your Education Qualification: Uneducated, Educated, Graduation, Post Graduation, or Other Degree.
Step 10: Loan History: If you have taken a past loan, select "Yes" or "No". If you selected "Yes" provide loan details (date, amount, paid, remaining) and your account number.
Step 12: Bank Account Details: Provide bank account number, bank name, branch name, name as per account, account type (Saving/Current), MICR code, and IFSC code.
Step 13: Submission: Click the "Submit" button to complete your application.
