Under this scheme, financial support is provided for projects that can reach a maximum cost of ₹5,00,000 through bank loans.
Entrepreneurs participating in this scheme are required to pay only 4% interest on the financed amount, while the Uttarakhand government covers the remaining interest, which can be as much as 10%. The implementation of this scheme is managed through District Village Industries Offices across various districts in Uttarakhand.

- Applicants should either be educated unemployed youth who have exceeded the age limit for government service or have undergone training at an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or a Polytechnic.
- Women interested in self-employment are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants must have completed Vocational Education at the 10+2 level with a focus on Village Industries.
- Projects must be established in rural areas.
Exclusions
The scheme does not support projects that involve:
- Production or trade of meat
- Intoxicating substances
- Khadi or Poly-based products
- Animal husbandry
- Horticulture
- Industries that are harmful to the environment

Eligibility Criteria
