Initiated by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Rajasthan, this scheme focuses on offering an extra monthly financial aid of ₹500 to support children whose parents or guardians work in the cleaning profession. This initiative is particularly beneficial for students who are already receiving scholarships through the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme, thereby reinforcing their educational journey.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a student currently enrolled in an educational institution.
  • The applicant should either be receiving or eligible for the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme.
  • Applicants should belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), or Extremely Backward Classes (EBC).
  • The parent or guardian of the applicant must be employed in the cleaning profession and classified as part of the scavenger class.
  • If the applicant’s parent has passed away, a guardian from the cleaning profession who is part of the scavenger class can also apply.

Application Procedure

The application process for this scheme can be completed online in a few simple steps:

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Visit the official portal.
  • Click on the “Register” option.
  • You will be directed to the SSO registration page, where you will see the following options:
    • Citizen
  • Choose either the Jan Aadhaar or Google option to proceed:
    • Jan Aadhaar: Enter your Jan Aadhaar number and click ‘Next’. Select your name, the name of the head of the family, and all other family members. Click on ‘Send OTP’, enter the OTP received, and click ‘Verify OTP’ to complete registration.
    • Google: Enter your Gmail ID and click ‘Next’. Enter your password, and a new link will appear on the screen. Click on the new SSO link, your SSO ID will be displayed, create a password, enter your mobile number, and complete the registration process.

Step 2: Application Submission

  • Return to the official portal and log in.
  • After logging in, the dashboard will be displayed.
  • Click on the “IFMS-RAJSSP” option.
  • Select “Continue to RajSSP”.
  • Click on “Apply for Scheme” displayed on the screen.
  • A new page will show a list of various schemes; select “Yojana”.
  • Select the category as “sanitation worker”.
  • Fill in all relevant information and upload the necessary documents.
  • Finally, submit your application.

Step-3: Then you will be redirected to the SSO registration page. The registration page will appear with the following options.
Citizen

Step-4: Choose the either one option from the Jan Aadhaar Or Google to process further.
Jan Aadhaar : Enter the Jan Aadhaar number, click on the ‘Next’ button,
Select your name, the name of the head of the family and all the other members and
Click on the ‘Send OTP’ button. Enter the ‘OTP’ and
Click on the ‘Verify OTP’ button to Complete the registration.

Google : Enter the Gmail ID, click on the ‘Next’ button,
Enter the password.
A new link appear on screen, now click on new SSO link.
SSO id will appear on screen, now create the password.
Enter Mobile number, click on registration.

Apply
Step-1: Applicant have to visit the official portal

Step-2: After login, dashboard will open.
Step-3: Click on “IFMS-RAJSSP" option.
Step-4: Select "Continue to RajSSP".
Step-5: Now click on "Apply for Scheme" on screen.
Step-6: In this new page, will get a list of names of all the schemes, and click on the name of "Yojana"
Step-7: Select the category "sanitation worker"
Step-8: Fill out all relevant details and upload the required document.
Step-9: Submit.
