Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP): Electrification of Wells of Scheduled Caste Farmers
The scheme aims to provide agricultural electricity connections on a priority basis to Scheduled Caste farmers. Benefits include electrification of wells and free domestic electricity connections for Scheduled Caste farmers and beneficiaries across Gujarat.
About This Scheme
The scheme “Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP): Electrification of Wells of Scheduled Caste Farmers” was launched by the Energy and Petrochemicals Department, Government of Gujarat, with financial allocation starting from the year 2016-17, to provide agricultural electricity connection to Scheduled Caste farmers on a priority basis. The scheme provides electrification of agriculture wells of Scheduled Caste Farmers. Free domestic electricity connections are also provided to Scheduled Caste beneficiaries. The applicant must be a Scheduled Caste farmer. The applications for this scheme are accepted at the Subdivisional Office or via the All Discom Website.

Application Process
Apply Offline
Step 1: The application form required for this scheme can be obtained free of cost from the Discom Website. Alternatively, applicants may collect physical forms from their nearest Subdivisional Office.
Step 2: Once the form is fully filled and all required documents are attached, the complete application must be submitted to the Subdivisional Office.
Step 3: The applicants are mandated to pay the Registration Charge, Security Deposit, Agreement Fee, and Test report fee for the agricultural connection application.
*The capital costs associated with High Tension (HT) lines, Low Tension (LT) lines, and Transformer centers are waived for applicants under this scheme.
