Scheme to Provide Assistance for Construction of Retail Outlets/ Agricultural Malls in State Market Committees

About This Scheme
The scheme “Scheme to Provide Assistance for Construction of Retail Outlets/ Agricultural Malls in State Market Committees” introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department, Gujarat, aims to provide financial assistance to market committees in Gujarat’s “C” and “D” category areas to set up retail outlets/agricultural malls. These establishments help farmers sell their produce directly, eliminating middlemen and ensuring fair prices.

Eligibility Criteria
Market Committees of all Areas of “C” and “D” Class of Gujarat State shall be eligible for this scheme.
Application Process
Apply Offline
Step 1: Market committees need to prepare development plans and cost estimates with an engineer on the panel approved by the Director-Agricultural Markets and Rural Finance.
Step 2: Submit the proposal to the Deputy Director and District Registrar of Co-operative Societies of the respective district.
