The “Vandan Matru Yojana (VMY)” is a maternity benefit scheme launched by the Women and Child Development Department, Gujarat, to support pregnant and lactating women from economically weaker sections. Benefits
Financial Assistance:
Registration Benefit: A one-time financial assistance of ₹1000/- is provided.
Additional Benefit: An additional amount of ₹1000/- is disbursed after institutional delivery.
Further Benefit: ₹2000/- is given in two installments during the breastfeeding period, promoting continued maternal and child health.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
The applicant must be a pregnant or lactating woman.
The applicant must belong to a family with an annual income below ₹2,00,000/-.
The applicant must be registered at an Anganwadi center.

Step 3: Complete the registration process with the assistance of Anganwadi staff.
