  • Direct transfer of the grant into the beneficiary’s registered bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
  • Expected disbursement of funds within two months from the scheme’s launch date.
  • One-time financial assistance available to each eligible student for smartphone purchase.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana-Special, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a resident of Tripura and possess a valid Tripura Ration Card.
  • Should be enrolled in a final year undergraduate program during the academic year 2022-23.
  • The course must be conducted by a government college, institute, or university in Tripura.
  • Smartphone purchase must occur on or after July 1, 2022.
  • The purchase must be made in the name of the applicant or their parents.
  • Must have successfully completed the previous academic year or semester prior to the final year.

Application Process

Applying for this scheme is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to submit your application:

  1. Visit the Beneficiary Management System (BMS) portal and click on the “Citizen” link.
  2. Select “Beneficiary Schemes” to view available programs.
  3. Locate “Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana-Special (AY 2022-2023)” and click “Enroll.”
  4. If you’re a first-time user, click “New User? Register” and provide your full name, mobile number, and email address.
  5. Enter the One-Time Passwords (OTPs) sent to your mobile and email to complete your registration.
  6. Log in using your registered email or mobile number, along with the OTP received.
  7. Input your 12-digit Ration Card number, select your name from the family list, and fill in your personal and address details.
  8. Provide your bank account information, including bank name, account number, IFSC code, and account holder name.
  9. Complete the scheme-specific details such as college name, year of study, invoice details (invoice number, date, amount, GSTIN), and the phone’s IMEI number.
  10. Upload all necessary documents. All documents, except for the photograph, should be in PDF format, not exceeding 2 MB. The photograph must be in JPG or JPEG format with a maximum size of 2 MB.
  11. Submit your application. An acknowledgement slip will be generated for your records.

Benefits

Step 10: Upload all mandatory documents. All documents except the photograph must be in PDF format with a maximum size of 2 MB. The photograph must be an image file (e.g., JPG, JPEG) with a maximum size of 2 MB.
Step 11: Submit the application. An acknowledgement slip will be generated for future reference.
