Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a full-time accredited journalist.
• A minimum of 20 years of continuous service in journalism is required, which can include work in daily and weekly newspapers, independent publications, electronic media, or news agencies.
• Accredited journalists should have been registered with the Department of Information and Public Relations, Rajasthan, for at least 10 years.
• Applicants must be 60 years or older at the time of application.
• Applicants should not be receiving any salary, pension, or financial assistance from any newspaper, institution, or state government support.
• An affidavit must be provided declaring that the applicant is not a taxpayer.
• There should be no criminal cases registered against the applicant.

Note: The honorarium is initially provided for five years and is subject to review.
