The scheme is limited to a maximum of 300 beneficiaries each financial year, and applicants are required to submit proof of their pilgrimage within 60 days of its completion. The Gujarat Holy Pilgrimage Development Board is responsible for implementing this initiative, and applications can be submitted offline using a specific form available on the official website.

Application Procedure

The application process for the Sindhu Darshan Scheme is conducted offline. Below are the detailed steps for applying:

  1. Obtain the Application Form: Interested individuals should print the prescribed application form available.
  2. Fill in the Form: Complete all mandatory sections of the application form, including details of the authorized travel agent or organizer and personal information of the pilgrims. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents.
  3. Submit the Application: Send the completed and signed application form along with the necessary documents to the Gujarat Holy Pilgrimage Development Board, located at the Old Secretariat in Gandhinagar, within the stipulated 60-day period following the completion of the yatra. It is advisable to keep a copy of the submitted application for personal records.

Verification and Disbursement

Upon submission, the Gujarat Holy Pilgrimage Development Board will review and process the applications. Once verified, the financial assistance will be directly credited to the beneficiary’s bank account.

Application Process

Apply Offline

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to "Gujarat Holy Pilgrimage Development Board, Old Secretariat, Gandhinagar" within 60 days of yatra completion.
*Retain a copy of the submitted application for future reference.

Verification & Disbursement
The board processes applications, and financial assistance is credited to the beneficiary’s account.
